I have a obd2 car (96 EK hatch w/gsr swap) and i found out my distributor went bad. i was just wondering if i could get a odb1 dizzy and just swap it out since i have a conversion harness. Used to have a type r dizzy, odb2.

you can get a obd1 dizzy if you want, but the plastic clips wont match. just get a 96-98 dohc vtec dizzy or buy a cheap 92+ (sohc, dohc) dizzy and take out the ignitor (if thats the problem) and put it in the old dizzy.
