What is the difference between a strut and a shock? Is there one, i know i need some new struts/shocks, i was thinking tokiko blues, are those decent?

For one a strut usually has a coil spring around it and a shock does not.We have neither a strut or shock.They are called dampers.

shocks use UCA and LCA i believe.

struts dont or something like that. i might of had read wrong.

So then what do i ask for when i need new dampers? Just ask for tokiko dampers?
