Default valve spring tool

anyone know of an alternative to the snap on valve spring tool? i was looking for something a little less expensive that works with hondas (most of the valvespring tools dont fit) reason im asking is im thinking about taking out my crower valvesprings and retainers off my old car possibly. any input you guys got would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

i cant help you out, but i do know your struggle. i tried using a compressor adapter that was made in the machine shop at school to put the valves in a volkswagen head, and no matter what we did, we couldnt get those *********** back in.

yah i know. i used the snap on valvespring tool to get them in cus my friend knew someone at a shop, but i dunno if i can borrow it again just want um out cus its sitting doing nothing and i got them for 100 bucks
