Default new and so lost in the Honda world(sorry 56k)

Sup guys just got this car about 2 weeks ago,me being 16 I never really drove manual a lot just when I'm driving my friend's car so I'm still trying to smoothen my shifting.Well here it is peeps,I know it's not as nice as the rides in this section but one day it will trust me

so far plans are luminics ultra violet bulbs, amber corner lights,cd player(hate the damn radio),Omni Power slip over coils,AEM short ram or maybe just a cheapie ebay one and replace with a good filter down the road, either a Tanabe Hyper Medallion or Magnaflow universal muffler. As far as the engine go I want to do a swap(duhh)but once again being 16 money is really dry so just basic bolt ons to the lil d and maybe a mini me if I find a d16 civic in the junkyard

interior's pretty clean i think

stock civic tape player...OG style

this is real OG

P.S no I did not pay 11k,that was MSRP back in '94

thanks guys,it's a 94 so about 11 years,I try to not cheap out as much as I can but I still want a good price when I get the real deal.

where do you guys get your amber lenses?are the ones on ebay ok?I don't want to spend $150 on actual Vision ones, just nice looking knockoffs just amber btw not smoked amber

there's also nothing wrong with buying the ebay intake is there?I could just buy a filter with a velocity stack and it'll be no diff to the aem one?

Definitely a better car than I had at age 16 ....the eGay intake will work...wrap the piping with header wrap to keep out the engine heat and get a K&N filter. Get a cold air instead of a short ram or your filter will be sucking in mad engine heat. Set up the piping to make it easy to transform it into a short ram for the rainy days or get a AEM bypass.

just don't look cheap, you know.. buy stupid things like lights, shift *****, pedals, all that autozone crap.. it makes you look like a noob. Keep it clean, you wanna get started in honda's do some elbow work stuff. Do a wire tuck in your engine bay, clean it up really nice.

When you install your coilovers, paint the susspension with some rust rpotective black stuff. Just keep it clean and simple.

wire tuck is pretty easy, if you feel confident about it, take the entire engine harness out,(label the connectors) and clean/re-tape the whole thing. Sand down the grounds, replace the connectors with nice new brass connectors. Then just a process of hiding the wires, like running them under the rad support(top part), in the frame, close to the engine, etc.

Perfect starting point... Just keep it clean, and take a look at some of the clean coupes here on HT for some "direction..."

that is right. even if you only have 2 parts on the car that are considerably expensive, it'll be well worth it in the end. if you cheap out now, you're gonna end up replacing it later (once or a few times) and spending a lot more money than planned.

btw, dont ask a lot of questions. whatever you think of asking, search for it. chances are it has been asked before. good luck!

welcome to h-t....
man your starting with a nice base, take your time and dont waist money on things you really dont need. if you want coil-ivers from tein zeal or what have you save for them. cause trust mje i have freinds that went from:
stock shocks w/lowering springs
aftermarket shocks w/ lowering springs
aftermarket shock w/ sleeve style coilovers (skunk)
then a full coilover system at the end. sorry for the stiry style post but we (honda-tech) have seen it all, read up on things first and if your still lost post up and get your problem solved.
