do the 16 inch rsx rims have any fit issues on the R rubbing etc?
i have a chance to buy a nice clean set and wondered it they would fit on the r without rubbing? thanks
Knowing Honda USDM, they are in the +50 to +45 offset range. If so, there shouldn't be any problem at all, even with the popular 215-45-16 size tyre.

I could not find so much choice for my JDM 16's.
Most are OEM's for NSX or others.
Just now Dunlop Direzza DZ101 has this size.

If all you need is a high performance summer tyre, no chance of freezing weather, then the Hankook R2S Z212 might be a good choice. They're quite cheap for the handling they provide.
If you do need a tyre for cold weather, then the Falken Ziex 512 might be a good choice. I know they have 225-40-16 because I have them on my daily driver. At an indicated 60 miles per hour, you'd be travelling 57 miles per hour.

My R is only summer ride, no winter.
I just want to go back to OEM 16 size since I am currently using 215-40-16,
Kumho which not so fond of Korean tires.

I have rsx rims painted gunmetal on my black r and it looks pretty decent. My tires rub a little when I hit bumps....well hard bumps. I have 205 50 16 tires on it. It rides good but if you go with some 45's you'll be ok. I'll try to get some pics

It's amazing how much of a difference there is between 205/50 and 205/45R16 on my car.
the 50's rub if you look at them wrong. Well, I do have a steep driveway, enough that I am on 3 wheels statically while pulling up into it. The worst part of it was right at the top of the wheel well in front, before I banged in the lip there.. This is lowered. Stock ride height I didn't rub, not noticeably.

The RSX 5 spoke wheel has almost no clearance with the caliper bracket. You'll have to use spacers on the front or put different calipers.
Rsx wheels clear my calipers and I'm on h and r race springs. it rubs in the back on the outer lip of the 1/4, and rubs slightly on full lock turn. I deal with it because it really isnt that bad. I cant even stick my pinky over the rear tire....thats how tight.
