Default Accord can't shift out of Park - Please help

My solenoid is going out on my 99 automatic V6 Coup. I need to be able to drive the car to the dealer, but the shifter is stuck in park at my work. It seems worse in heat. In the morning I was able to hit the brake until it worked. Now I can't move it. I believe it's the solenoid because my brake lights are out too. A friend told me that some Honda's have a keyhole to disengage the shifter lock even when the car is off. Is this true? Where is it? Any help would be appriciated please!

On my old accord auto there was one. You can take your key and there should be a lil indentation that you could use your key to push down to let u shift into the gears manually. Im not sure if the newer one has it but mine was where you shift theres a lil slit there and u just put your key in there. For your tail lights have you checked your brake switch?

Sounds more like a bad brake switch or fuse to me. Does your horn work?

You have to remove the trim ring from around the base of the shifter to get to it.
