93' Prelude Project
I recently bought a 93' Prelude from my Uncle for $200 (It needs a new fender and to be overhauled). This will be my first project car and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what to do first for the most horsepower gains, I have about $3000 to work with after the overhaul. I am not interested in adding a bodykit or rims, and I would prefer to keep the car completely stock in appearance except for the exhaust. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it alot.
which motor is in the car right now? h23 or h22a1? do you wanna boost that could be an option as well... Not to sure about boosting there are many people here that have done it... i drove my friends prelude which has an h23 and when i did my h22 swap it was the difference between night and day... at least to me it was. but anyways congrats and good luck.
It ~HAD~ an h23a1 in it, the weekend that I bought it me and my dad took the engine out. I am still learning about cars and this was my dads first honda, (haha he hated it). Right now the only thing under the hood of the car is the fuse box and wiring harness though. Right now would be primetime to know what to be doing with it though, seeing as how the motor is out and ready to be taken apart. Also, I would like boost...but it seems a bit expensive for my budget.
