Should i get the hondata s200? i need your help
A real EMS never hurts, but with just I/H/E I don't think you have enough mods to really justify the cost. I'd wait until you have some cams, gears, bigger injectors, etc then get the EMS and install it all at the same time.
I would get whatever the local tuner is most capable of using. I personally love the Neptune system and have Tony Palo within a 30 min drive. If the tuners around there specialize in Hondata, go for it.
well here in south florida there is south florida performance that tunes the hondata s200 and we also have cartek tuner who tunes the everything but hondata. So which one would make the most horsepower for me. Just between the hondata s200 or the apexi vafc with simple bolt ons. I'm hoping to get 186 whp.

why not shoot for having it tuned to make the most power under the curve. That doesn't always mean a high peak number and it's not like 186whp is impressive.
Screw peak numbers, get it tuned so it has great mid range, unless you drive at 8000rpm all day long.

you'll be .2 second faster. you'll feel the differnce yet not much to show for it. thats regardless if hondata, stock ecu or power fc or whatever.. you don't really get much out of tuning unless you have enough mods.
So basically with just simple bolt ons it doesn't really matter which one i go with. Right now with my chip p28 with vtec set at 5000 rpm the car doesn't feel has strong. Maybe i need to stop comparing it to my all motor crx. I expected too much from my stock itr motor. O.k last chance Apexi vafc ( version 1 or 2 which one is better?) or hondata s200 for mid to high end range and beating those car i talk about. I might have to race my sister's stock 05 6mt g35 with my brother driving it. Morso is july 15 and i want to run some impressive times. Keep the info coming please.
s200 has much more in terms of capabilites and room to grow with mods.
neptune would be my choice, were i in your shoes and there was someone nearby to tune it.....

is neptune just a chip that someone can burn? One of the reasons i was also looking for both devices for tuning is because i didn't want to run too rich or too lean, Right now i have no idea is i'm running rich or lean.

Agreed! I almost got the Vafc but my tuner, as well as others, convinced me otherwise. I ended up buying a friends s200 used for less than the Vafc new.
Yesterday we (I use that term loosely) spent almost five hours tuning her up then the p28 fried. Argh!! No worries, tomorrow it should be done.
Unfortunately, the dyno is down so I couldn't get a baseline before Hondata. However, in a week or two I'll make the trip for some fine tuning and I'll be sure to post up the graph.
I only have bolt-ons and all my internals are stock.

Cool i live in pembroke pines, So if you get the s200 you have to make SFP tune it for you. I think they are the only ones who tune hondata. Hey morso is july 15 so if you want to roll.
i called cartek last week they do not tune hondata. They said hondata is crap compare to greddy e-manage. I have aem CAI jdm 4-1 type r header apexi n1 exhaust.
