I believe the owner of that exact car also has a v8 in there. I have sen that car quite a few times on here and some v8 datsun sites.

What's crazy and doesn't look that bad is there's a 240z front end conversion for the 240sx, it looks damn good.

Here's a link.

Those things are slick as hell with a smallblock chevy and a T56 tranny. Thats the ultimate setup right there to be pretty quick with one of those.

Maybe the previous owners did some mods. on the front end. From what I've seen, this looks like a 72 or 73 Datsun 240Z. At first I thought it was a 280, but the front of the 280 is longer and sleeker looking.
Nice clean car though!!!

yeah thats a 240 bro..remember a few months ago when i was talking to you bout picking up a datsun 240 for a beater? thats pretty much it

some of them may look different cuz of that bar that they have that goes across the front/back some of the models..theres also bumpers and other kinds of **** you can do to the front to make them look different

but that car above looks exactly like my neighbor's 240, youg ot my AIM hit me up if you want to talk to him bout your Z

Definitely a 70's 240Z. Check this site out.
http://www.datsun.getyours.com. This guy has a 73' Datsun 240Z and look at the transformation. Very impressive, although I didn't care much about his comment about pissing off Honda owners.

thats a really nice Z either a 240 or 260..or a 280 with 40 and 60 exterior peices..i wasnt too into datsun and nissan (though i love Nickle Dimes) but my uncle was deep into em..he had a 240 with Jap L28, makuni ITB's, nismo header (looked like bullshit welded together) 280 LSD rear and a nice tight suspension..Z cars are alotta fun. what mods are done?
