Prelude or wat?
Okay.....My friend's about to buy an RSX Type-S fresh out the lot n I personally like preludes alot. I heard preludes are too heavy for the engine and almost pointless to buy. Is it true? Most ppl jus like to drop an H22 into a smaller car such as a hatch or a coupe. Is there any way to fix the overload of weight somehow?

Yea. Spend a lot of money to buy a Prelude then strip it down like a Civic.

Not really, the weight is mainly the reason why you don't see many all-motor, daily driven BB6s, people tend to go Turbo or SC to overcome the weight problem......

Sometimes people tend to buy 4th gens to over come the weight problem.
I had mine on a scale with a quarter tank of gas and it only weighed 2746.234 pounds, which is very comparable to the RSX Type-S. Plus the H22 has more torque to help move its heavy ***.

It allll matters what your goals are for the car. Personally I love the looks, and feel of the prelude 4th/5th gen. And the H22 powerplant keeps it goin strong. Its one of the last not played out cars in my opinion. A nicely built prelude holds respect where as another civic running around with an H22 is just like the next guy. (and of course there are exceptions)
if you don't buy the lude for the engine or looks think of the suspension setup: double wishbone. much better than that new **** they put on the new civics/rsx's.

well, what do you consider "gud"? (good?) do you want speed? if so,. you are in the wrong market. if you want looks only, hondas are good cuz they are reliable and look pretty good.

right on the dot.
boosted h23 and it was fun as hell. uphill climbs? lol, i rarely felt them.
tell ur compadre to get whatever he wants. it is his car. if it was me, i'd tell him to get a boat just in case the world floods and he will have a way to get around.
i am tired.
rsx's have a nice looking interior tho.

yea, you wont find something thats fast, and gets good gas mileage. I have a 3 rotor T-88 rx7. it might get 13 mpg, but when it pushes 800HP, who cares? stock supras are fairly quick at 13.6 seconds/ 1/4 mile. it gets ok mileage, and has tons of bottom end. I think they look good too. faster than ANY honda product straight out of the box. too many options to list here. Your boy will have to find what he likes and get that.
