EF (88-91)
EG (92-95 USDM/91-95 JDM)
EK (96-00)

there should be information in FAQ.

What upgrades you should get may depend on what other upgrades are already on the car.

Boost is a good upgrade.

If it has something like cams and high compression pistions then boost wouldn't be a great idea.

No more than $5000, and with the JDM motor you'll have problems in september when they pass the new emissions standards.

Technically you have an EJ2 I believe, it doesnt matter what the motor is, it matters what your vin tag reads.

SiR is just a trim level, I believe it was an EG hatchback with a B16 from the factory

I believe the SiR is more like our EX and the SiR II is the better model with the B16.

Actually, I think the SiR was the 4th gen EF hatchback with the B16 in it. I also thought the VTi was the 5th gen hatch with the D15 Vtec and the SiRII had the B16...This JDM **** is far too confusing, that is why I hate it.
