Default h22a engine swap and ca emissions requirements

hey guys. im new here. i just got a 95 lude type s and i wanted to swap the h23a to h22a (JDM). i was wondering how to meet the ca smog emmisions standards? i read somewhere that i could get the BAR VEhicle Identification Label approval? i really dont know what this is, or how to go about it. any help would be really useful! thanks so much

juss go let them take a look first, then they will tell u wat u need to change, there is no penalty or anthin like that except once u let them check, u have to pass it or else they wont let you do smog check else where, for me, i swap a 95jdm h22a into a 95 accord, so they make me change the purge valve, canister, map sensor, and some more junk to match the udsm 95 prelude, it stupid to change those shiet but yea

You will need a USDM or JDM motor that is 95 or newer. Obtaining a 95 USDM will be best since its easier to pass smog with an USDM motor however I've seen JDM H22a's pass smog no problems. Also all the emissions from your old motor has to be hooked up to your new motor. Have any other questions feel free to PM me. Late
