Just curious as to if anyone had ordered an HID kit from the recent group buy that is going on...

 

theres a Philips one and an "Eagle" (i think) one... i'm SOOOOO tempted to buy the Philips one, cuz i never heard of the reliability of the other... but i think i'm gonna buy a new 17" TFT monitor instead, cuz i spend so much time on H-T

I just don't want to jump into this if it's crap or a scam.. But I need the HIDs to wire up ASAP.

Dude, I'm joining the other 19 people. $470 shipped is dirt cheap for the good quality phillips balast and bulbs.

 

What's with the extra wiring in the picture listed on GBC?

I don't remember seeing that in the 4300k Philips kits that h/t people purchased thru another GB.

 

I'm in the market for hid also. But i'm a bit skeptic on this deal. The seller never directly answer the question whether the bulb is the REAL Philips Ultinon bulb, and the bulb makes a world of difference. The picture shows the casing of the bulb, but it never mention the word "Ultinon", just a sticker with the Philips name on it....
and the case also said "super white" but i think 6000k is supposed to be blue...
i dunno, maybe i'll hold out for now.

 

Yeah, my "inside sources" hehe.. have informed me that they are different from real Philips bulbs.. Ima hold out too.
