Wondering if anyone has any input:

I'm thinking of selling my stock minty CW rims. Wondering if I am making a mistake.

I'll keep mine for daily drive use or for winter tires. But if you are using the Volk's for DD and if you need the space, sell them. I'm sure you can always pick some up later, or even get some 16" JDM ones.

 

Keep them....you will regret sellling them one day. I have mine and will refuse to sell

 

minty like spearmint or minty like peppermint

Keep the rims, you'll find good use for them one day-

 

Thanks for the input, I'm definitely thinking I may have regrets if I sell. Anyone else? (Volume of responses matters this time).

Assuming CTR is the same, and I'd like to have H caps, does anyone see any advantage to having the original rims (which BTW are stamped '98' on the back).

I sold my OEM wheels years ago and have never looked back. I don't think you will miss them...

 

Your R is primarily a track car, but still sees some street?

i painted mine PINK, and i wouldn't trade them for the WORLD!

(until i can spring for something light for a blinger track wheel, which i will anodize pink... or... something )

take THAT, CW.

you'll be able to find more for sale in future i'm sure, if you missed them that badly.. and if they're not spearminty or pepperminty fresh, you could just re-powdercoat them. voila.

 

Soooo, we're running 50/50 sell/keep at the moment. Anyone else?

lol u shoulda made a poll i think they look fine as the stock rims...give it a nice clean look
