NOOBIE HERE. I have been reading this thread religiously for the last 6 months and all of HT for that matter. I recent job change and a hike in pay has solidified my determination to purchase a piece of Honda history (aka an ITR). I am a young pup and new to the AutoX scene. I am looking to meet some people in my area who have ITR's to check out their ARRR's and 'talk the talk' until I can eventually 'walk the walk' with my own ARRR. Currently located in nothern indiana near Notre Dame but will be moving to Nashville in the next couple of weeks. If any one is interested in meeting up with a NOOBIE to show him the ropes let me know. Thanx for listening guys. Pz

If you want, tomight i am heading out to tire rack a little before 6 p.m. There is this little car show thing that I got third at last year with my EK hatch. Ill be out there with my R, so if you wanna stop by, thats where Ill be

 

I always see Tire Rack off of the Toll Road but how do you get there otherswise or what road is it on? I live in Elkhart BTW. Have plans to take the g/f to a movie but we'll see what happens. What time will you be there?

 

nice, hope you can show him around. btw there are a few R's for sale check autotrader... if you are interested in a boosted one, boosted r 25 is selln his and will be present at the itr meet this weekend i believe. Also you might want to tag along with rino924 if he is willing to take you in his r to the itr meet this weekend. There will be a few OG's who have track n auto x experience under their belt that will be attending. So you can ask them as many questions as you want. (btw bring beer, they tend to come to you and be more cooperative if you have beer in ur hands )

 

Kicker, I have been watching the threads on here and numerous classifieds such as cars.com and autotrader.com to name a few looking for ITR's for sale just to watch and become familiar with prices..... not sure if i'm going to look for an ARRR with any forced air induction or not.... probably not..... I'll have to see what is going on tomorrow and see if I can make it up to chi-town or not..... thanx for the comments pz

really? i autocross at tire rack. good facilities, and they always have awesome cars out front like M5's, Vipers, Benz's with BBS and SSR rims. Its a pretty cool place to go. especially when they have cars out testing tires like the Signal Auto R34 skyline They also alloow clubs to resnt out the track for weekends. for some reason this year there is no S2000 club or any honda clubs. I always go to the BMW and porsche events. If more R's were around there, i would look in to a track day weekend, cause i know a lot of people there.

The coolest part about tire rack is that the owner who is 80? Is actually very nice and does work..He came and gave me my tires, I was supprised that he actually did work and didnt sit behind a desk.
