it's funny cuz they say that heat soak is from the warm ambient air heating everything up... how is installing a gasket gonna prevent ambient air from touching your IM? I don't think it's worth it

It's not heatsoak from the ambient air, it's heatsoak from the engine. The intake manifold gasket is absolutely worthwhile . . . . the rest are worthless.
Anyway, dyno proven in quite a few applications to be worth 5hp or so. Check out Hondata.com for more details on them.
