Default Can you tell the difference in these headers?

I've been using Airborn Coatings (outside of Charlotte, NC) for over 5 years now for my mild steel headers. They have always done great work and do a very nice job of coating the inside of the tubes. Recently I've tried Jet Hot Coatings in Mississippi. They are a tad less expensive and seem to have less backlog.

Can you tell the difference? Just don't look at the date on the pictures.

both look good, but i think the first couple pics look a little better, but that could be due to the lighting.

More pics side by side and in the daylight will help make a better choice, but the first one looks a lot better. The 2nd one looks good, but has a.....i dunno...just don't like the finish as much.

Well I doubt I'll ever have 2 side by side since they get shipped out as soon as I get them back.

BTW, the first 2 pictures are of the Airborn Coatings job and the 3rd and 4th are of the Jet Hot version.

I think they both look real good. I had my header coated by jet hot and I thought they coated the inside of the pipes very well and it definitely kept the temps down under the hood. Which company did better at coating inside the tubes? To me, that would be the most determining factor since they both look about the same.

Looks like Jet is more shiny almost like chrome than Airborne, but it could be just the lighting. They both look good to me.
