yeah 2005 VTX1800F

Not sure I can sell out and give up my sporty riding ways...but Dallas sure is flat and straight. No real point in owning a sportbike here. Most of the sportbikers are as big a posers as the cruiser guys for this reason.

Looking at the bike, it doesn't excite me or make me lust after it or elicit any kind of emotional response, so its going to really impress me when I ride it.


Note that it has less shiny bits than most cruisers, and those are 16 and 18 inch sportbike tires front and rear.

 

If I HAD to ride a cruiser it would be that or a roadstar warrior. And they are still VERY fast

 

My friend has a VTX1300. Nice on the straights and longer hauls. Handles like a Buick

 

i learned on my dads 2003 vtx 1800 that has alot of peformance parts on it . but i didnt need something like that i weight 150lb so i got a 05 r6 raven but the vtx is a hell of a bike.

 

dealer was dicking me around after i brought my bike up there to trade it in, didnt ride it, they were sitting around BSing not helping any customers and told me to wait. so i bailed, they sent a guy out after me but it was too late. tired of waiting.
