JDM DC 4-1, T1R test pipe, T1R catback...confused on how to put flex pipe/donut....
im using ES motor mounts with my JDM DC 4-1 ceramic header and T1R resonated USDM test pipe and T1R catback exhaust
its all 2.5 inch
i origionally had a carsound cat and a flex pipe
but the new test pipe replaces all of that, so where do i put a flex piece and how?
or do i really need it with the ES motor mounts?
i searched and could only find answers to turbo apps and slightly different scenarios
thanks

IMO- You really do need some flexibility, either a donut type of joint at the end of the header, or a flex piece in the test pipe. What kind of flange is on your header, a flexible/ball joint one or a fixed one?

Well, you can get a 2.5" flex pipe from http://www.summitracing.com , cut your test pipe in half, insert the flex pipe and clamp it on.
I would ask KTeller what they think.

well, i definetely cant cut my test pipe in half, its the Resonated T1R pipe and wouldnt work so well, hehe
but ill ask kteller about a donut gasket of sorts....

You'd solve all your problems if you just ran open header.
Yeah, a ball and socket or donut flange would be your best bet.
