After the auto to manual swap, i find that the cruise control isnt working anymore. What could the shop that done the swap for me did to make this happend?

is it becuz of the obd2 to obd1 swap?

the reason that your cruise control is not working is that the cruise control computer is seeing its in park all the time. now that you don't have a "gear selector" auto.. the cruise control computer is thinking the car is in park. (most shops leave the wires together so the ECU thinks its in park all the time, this also allows for the key to come out of the ignition without additional wiring)
so yeah.. there ya have it, you will no long have cruise control now.. of course there's different ways to bypass this problem, if your electrical savy you should figure it out, if not.. its way to complicated to explain... sorry.
it may be as simple as just finding someone with a 5spd cruise control computer and pluging it in, but i'm not really sure if that would work.. someone with a helms could look it up for you. I dont have one yet otherwise i would.

its under the dash, i think the driver's side.. i'll look when i get home
