My buddy is planning on a ZC motor in his 90 civic hatch dx, can the mpfi help him out
The "common" "black top" ZC is already mpfi. It runs 4 injectors. If his car is a dx/lx he will have to convert the wiring to run the mpfi. note: there were some zc's that were carbed
THE BROWN COVER ZC FITS 87 CRX I THINK
IF I SWAP A D16Z6 OR B18 DO I NEED OBD1 WIRING OR SI WIRING MPFI
CAN SOME ONE EXPLAIN ME OBD1 WIRING COMES WITH

THe ZC IS Multi Point Fuel Injected now. Unless is was one of the Carberated ones. His DX has a Dual Point Fuel ingected motor (Thats what the DX came with and has only 2 injectors). You will need a new computer and modify the wiring harness. Or you can buy one that is Modified from Hasport. You'll still have to modify at the computer in the car. I am completeing this swap now and should have it running today. It won't be as fast as a B16A swap, but it is a heck of a lot cheaper to do the swap. ZC=130 hp, B16A=160 hp.
