obd2a--> crx Q's
car= 88?crx
engine harness= obd2a
ecu= aem(obd2a)
engine= ls/vtec.
ps..i dont have a helms for a crx or a 96-98 civic, otherwise, i wouldnt have made this post.
the car is a race car, so i dont care about the heater/guage cluster..blah blah blah.(sfwd)
the lights are seperate from the engine harness, correct?
questions.
-1. driver side engine bay plug--> (ie swap plug on the obd2a engine harness, for a plug from an older teg or crx)
is the wiring in these 2 plugs similar between the years, or is it going to be a real hack job? pinouts for each plug would be a great help.(just the crx plug, and the obd2a plug)
2. the small green plug on the obd2a harness(by the ecu) connects to the dash harness on obd2a vehicles. i dont belive this will plug into the crx anywhere. does anyone have a pinout for this plug?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. im not woried about any of the sensors on the engine, so if you want to tell me something about them, save your self the effort.
4. im not buying an obd conversion harness.
5. please dont respond if you dont have anything constructive to say.
thanks
