im installing one right now and theres this thing called a "distribution block." the one i have is like a lil cylinder with four bolts sticking out of it. 2 bigger and thicker ones (which i assume one goes to the fuse box and one goes to the starter), but then there are two little ones... one has an I next to it and the other one has an S next to it.
so im wondering what do i screw onto there? (and if my assumptions for the two bigger ones is correct?)

ok after searching (and finding people arguing about wiring it inside or outside, a bunch of broken links, and people asking what battery they should use) i came across hawkze saying something about using a distribution block and "connect the ignition and stereo to that if you have it"
could ignition and stereo be the I and S!?!?

Honestly, all you have to do is connect all the things that need a positive connection to the + battery terminal. A distribution block makes it easier, but it's not necessary. You could probably get by with a nut and bolt holding the wires tightly together. I wasted $50 on a dist. block
For example: hook the dist. block to the + batt. cable and then connect the fuse box + wire, the starter + wire, your amp + wire, etc....

well i already have the distribution block... so ill prolly use it lol.
and i dont have a system so im assuming i dont need to hook up an amp wire (or is that an abbreviation for something not related to a sound system? lol)
heres a very rough sketch of what it looks like (my parents took teh camera to Jamaica
)

so... lets say i hook it up like so:
top: power wire from battery (i believe i have a 4ga wire)
bottom: starter (what gauge should i use?)
right: fuse box (what gauge should i use?)
or could i hook the starter and the fuse box wires onto the bottom one. i ask b/cc those little ones are freakin tiny and dont look like i should use them
