get an apexi n1 lol, i would get some oem muffler from some car lol, it'll defiantly be the most quiet, just find a car that has 2.5 inch piping stock and take its muffler

My car has a straight through canister muffler and I get very embarassed when I pickup people to attend business meetings or do volunteer work. I found a chambered performance muffler near me which is around 30bucks cnd funds. It's a cherrybomb turbo. It looks close to the dynomax super turbo design and I was wondering if anyone has installed this muffler and if it quiets the exhaust down? Here's a pic of it. I know whenever people think cherrybomb they think shitty red glasspacked muffler but this one seems alright and I think it might be the solution to my noise problem. I can always upgrade after I get a decent job.

</TD></TR></TABLE>

I ran the Cherry Bomb with the same setup as you. I purchased it from PepBoys for around $30-35 bucks. Its been a while. Set up at that time was 2 1/2 resonated pipping with the Cherry Bomb turbo muffler. It was alot quieter then the set up I had on before. (Same pipping with Apexi N1 can). Street use was bareable for passengers/cars around me. Didnt have any problems with the cops. The Cherry Bomb muffler looks stock. But, when you stepped on it. You ll know its not.
Often times, you find that this muffler will sound alot better then some straight through canister on the market.

I choose the Cherry Bomb muffler over what the muffler shop had. It flows alot better.

get a CTR or ITR muffler. most likely an ITR, because CTR's are rare to find.

i dont know about the cherry bomb but i just put a 03 si muffler on my 93 civic hatch with a b18b swap. it made it quite a idle but when it hits 3 grand it sounds like a baffle is loose or a rattling noise. i think it is because i have no cat, no resanator and the muffler inlet is 2".my piping is 2and1/4 inches to. but it sounds great down low. i dont know how to fox this

it will be fine as long as you get a resonator. i had that setup on my old ef b16 2.5 inch piping no cat resonator and same muffler, it just hums.

I have the same problem.
I have a '97 with CTR muffler. Sound beautiful at idle, but if I go any faster than crawl, it's embarrassing.
It was a lot louder the straight-through muffler, but also a lot smoother.
I probably just need a bigger resonator to compensate for it, and that’s something you should consider, too.

i have the same exhaust as stuck209 on my accord. imo i think its the best bang for your buck. the exhaust sounds deep but not loud at all. it also flows pretty good.

I mounted this muffler and it is much more quiet. But I have to say it sounds pretty shitty beyond 3.5-4k+ rpm. Almost sounds like it has a bad baffle in it with it's ringy dingy sound.

Yep..my brother had I'm guessing an older one of that, and it wasn't loud at idle or cruising but when he got on it, it had tons and tons of rasp to it. Did you put a resonator on? Supposedly that helps with the rasp alot.

Just slapped an OEM style muffler with a 2.25" inlet/outlet on. Worked great for me.

My setup is as follows:
4-2-1 header-&gt;high flow cat-&gt;2.25inch mandrel bent midpipe w/resonator-&gt;axle to muffler 2inch piping-&gt;cherry bomb turbo muffler

It will work for now considering I'm not much of a fast driver so for cruising it's nice and quiet. The muffler is brand new to so it will change a bit I'm sure as carbon builds up in it.
