Is your top modified for track use? There is a new road course opening in my area. The rules state targa tops must be bolted into place or removed entirely.
Does the stock "bolt" system qualify for track use? The car is much more stable with the top in place, I can't imagine wanting to run on a road course without it.

i've never had any issues at the various clubs I run with. it would really depending on whichever club's safety tech's position. check with them.
my top is bone stock. i don't have any additional safety stuff other than factory seat belts. I do have a harness bar but it's being used for the camera mount.
i don't even run bumper bars on front or back. but i highly recommend you keeping yours.
