How to remove Sidemoldings?
I just received my thin sidemolding and was wondering how to take of the original ones without messing up the paint on the car?
I am also confused what this is?
This is the middle side molding, The one on the door.

This is also on the molding that goes on the door:

What is the tape used for?

pull your interior panel out, you'll see the clips for your current moldings. Just unclip them from inside and remove them. The door molding has one screw in it I believe @ the end.
The double sided tape on the new one is just for extra adhesion.

huh? I took off my original side moldings off and put JDM thin sidemoldings on, That is why they are black.

agree, most won't notice it but it's all about personal preferences.
