b16 problem
ever since i took my AC out my b16a2 is idling really low at stop lights, almost to turning off. i have a skunk 2 manifold, and stage 1 clutch and 9lb flywheel but everything else is stock. is it cause of the stock header? throttle body? or maybe even spark plugs? if anyone has any ideas let me know
not sure about the ac, but having a skunk2 IM hurts power, on a bone stock motor...something you may want to look into, bigger cams and better flowing exhaust...
what does it idle at? mine stock si idles at like 400rpms...

Since when does it hurt power on a stock motor? Dyno results I've seen show 5-8 hp over stock and mine definitely doesn't feel any slower after the im swap.
To the original poster, I have the same motor, same im, and no ac, and the only time I had that problem was after the im swap. Try adjusting the throttle screw.

dyno results i've seen shown to hurt power until upgraded cams and exhaust are added. but if you experienced gains, more power to you!

Just adjust your idle higher. The idle is suppost to be 750rpm when at normal operating temp. After I swaped my stock flywheel (16.5lbs.) with my chromoly one (8.36lbs.) I never had to adjust my idle. I don't think the flywheel made the idle go down. Since idle is getting worse when the engine is hot I would say to check and clean your IACV, check your timing, check your PCV and then adjust your idle.
