Where to buy a entry level shifter kart?
hi, i have been browsing online and have found it difficult to find a completed entry level shifter kart. i mostly see only do it youself chassis and engine and parts and stuff.....any help is greatly appreciated.

You can find them online at places like ekartingnews.com , nkn, or ebay. But your best bet is to go local. Shipping a kart, and buying one sight-unseen, could be a real pain in the ***. Typically any local shops will support 2 or 3 brands and a particular motor, making it much easier to find parts in a hurry, plus you get help with setup.
If you're interested in autocross, check out the F125 mailing list at http://www.yahoogroups.com . There are also karts for sale every once in a while.
Look to spend in the $3-4k range for a good, clean kart with a few spares that is maybe 2-3 years old. I bought an older one for much less money and wish I had spent more up front.
