im not to familiar with del sol's. but my friend is giving me 150 to help him do his motor swap. he is putting a 1990 crx dx motor in his 93 del sol. im not sure what is needed. isnt that obd1-obd0? please give me a heads up

 

i don't think that the Del Sol is DPFI, so you'll need the intake manifold from the Del Sol. Is the Del Sol an Si ? if Its just an S model, it should be okay to just swap the block n' head, everything else like the sensors, tranny, wiring, etc... should be from the Del Sol

 

thanks. im not sure what type of del sol it is. i know it had a b16 in it at one time, but im not sure

 

i wouldnt put an obd0 motor, especially one that is DPFI in a del sol vtec. just buy a cheap 92+dx/cx/lx swap or something and save the headache

 

well he has the motor already thats why he wants to put it in. so is there any wiring involved if i swap out the intake manifolds?

 

what if i just put the dx head on the del sol and then put the intake manifold from the del sol back on the dx head? that would make my life alot easier, i have to do this swap tomrow. i know i should have researched first but tomorows the only time i have to do it
