Default A few suggestions, please.

For a person with a Civic, who uses it as a daily driver and weekend autoX car, What are your thoughts on this suspension setup?

Either Omni Sports or GC/Koni yellow SPSS combo
Sus Tech or Eibach (prolly EI) Sway bars
SPC camber kit (F&R)
Factory GSR Front upper strut brace
Urethane bushings

I had Sus-tech on my GSR and it handled pretty good. It came with them when I bought it so I could not compare before and after. I also added the urethane bushings which made a HUGE difference! So I will most definately get those again for my Civic.

Thoughts?

i'd go with the GC/konis up front with however much spring you can tolerate (say 350/400 for a DD/AX civic, you might be able to stomach more), not worry about a strut bar of any kind, and make sure the front camber kits are "skunk2-style" aka, replacement UCA's with a sliding ball joint.

other than that, the setup looks good. i'm assuming this is an STS car, in which case the right street tire is also going to be of paramount importance.

i run a 1992 civic in sts. it's my daily driver

i'm running Koni yellows with GC 450f / 400 r
custom adjustable 22mm type r rear sway bar with 7/16 heims. no front bar
function 7 rear LCA's
205/50/15 azenis rt-615

car is a bit bumpy, but defintely tolerable and FUN on the street. you'll feel everything in the road though. if you aren't into that they go with some lower spring rates. maybe in the 300 range.

I just bought those same tires . Where did you get the kit to make that bar adjustable? Also, any idea on the size of the CTR rear bar? Are your Koni's off the shelf, or SPSS, or custom valved? Any pics of the rear LCA's?

I thought Koni Yellows/Sports were different than SPSS?

i cut off the end circle piece, and welded on a 3/16" steel plate with 4 holes in it.
seems to be holding up nicely. i've only used the farthest hole so far. .

my konis are off the shelf. i figure if i stay below 500 lb spring rates they should have no problems. though i've heard varying info on how much the stock Konis will prpoperly handle.

the sway bar is 22mm. got it from DELRAY acura online. they are only $60 brand new. that is just for the bar though. and with the custom adjustable plate i'm using Heims to connect the sway to the LCA's
i'll take some pics of the setup this weekend. i painted the LCA's and Konis black though so it's a bit less NOTICEABLE. wish the f'n ground control sleeves came anodized black.

If your gonna be using daily driving tollerable spirng rates (500lb/in & lower), you probably won't need to spend extra money for the SPSS Koni's. Regular Koni Sports, and extended top hats (if your going low) should fill your needs...
