hey guys i am doing a z6 swap into my hatch here within a week and was wondering if i could use a p28 ecu from an automatic with my manual... is there any wiring i would have to do to make it work? also, i was wondering if all 92-95 1.6's were Z6's... i found a motor at a decent price and it doesnt say anything about vtec so i just wanted to make sure... i know not all the valve covers say it on them but i just wanted to make sure that they all were Z6's... thanks

You can you'll throw a code though.. But if you look around theres a write up on how to convert your auto to manual


Edit.. Not all eg civics came with d16z6 motors.. just look at the block code and it will tell you what it is

 

alright thanks alot... i meant are all of the 1.6's that came in 5th gens vtec(D16Z6)... i know that they also came with a 1.5 but im looking for a 1.6... thanks
