cooling fan short with a fuse that blew and reconnected
okay i have a 89 honda accord i have been the the honda sites and thy have been rude and no help so im coming here but i have a short in my cooling fan circut and one of the times it blew i blew like normal well the second time it blew i guess it reconnected and started melting the fuse i have pics the one on the left is the slightly melted and deformed one the other is the normally blown one. but could yah give me some ideas what they sometimes put on the cooling fan circut other than just the fans cause i've checked the wiring that i can see and it look just fineits way from the fan blades and away from the exhaust pipes. so i have no problems there theres no signs of melting of getting hot nothing it just looks fine. any ideas?

disconnect the plug at fan motor and retry i have seen fan motor seize up and blowing fuses
ummm.... i spun both fans they spin pretty freely about 1/2-3/4 of a turn before stopping. if its suppose to be freer than that then let me know and i'll pull them in the morning
well okay but the last time i put a fuse in there i melted and caught fire so im a little leary of doing that....god i hope nothing bad like a fire happens...

get a circuit breaker , they pop when there is a short that way you dont have to keep on replacing fuses ,than it would be easier to troubleshoot
