Default Micron high mount exhaust........

I'm planning on getting a MIcron slip on high mount black fusion to red for my gsxr 600. Does anyone know if I'd have to cut the mid pipe right after the "s.e.t valve" and clamp or is it a straight slip on. Because on my friend's r6 it's a straight screw off and slip right on to clamp it. For a gixxer I think it's entirely different? Does anyone know?

Most slipons do not require cutting. I know the slipons for the 929 were just cannisters but the 3/4 systems bolt on just past the htev valve so I would assume that it probably bolts on just past your set valve.

Why not just get the whole system and remove the set valve?

May want to browse the gixxer.com boards and see if there are any posts on there about it.
