00 EK w/ GSR motor WONT START
alright, i have had this motor in my car for about a week now. track day is today, so last night, i was daily driving around town for like 2 hours straight trying to break my clutch in.
while driving, my stereo dies. then my cluster dies (and the speedo jumped up everytime i turned off my already dying headlights). my car feels very very weak.
came to a friends house and turned the car off. tried starting it like 15 minutes later and all i hear is a very fast clicking noise. wait an hour, and it finally turns on, BUT i get that problem again of the stereo and everything dying.
slept, and woke up this morning. tried turning the car on, and it wont start (very fast, rapid clicking noise again)
what should i do????

Simple things to check first: all ground wires are clean and tight, no frayed or damaged wires, check all fuses interior and engine bay one, power wire from battery to alternator, check the alternator itself(get it load tested), check battery too. then come back to us with the results.

but ireally think this is your problem!

well, i used jumper cables on my car and it started, so i just finished charging up my battery (this is temporary until i buy a new one). i just need to know if my alternator needs to be replaced.
