My 94 EX four door had a problem with the passenger side, rear window ever since I bought it. It went up and down once or twice when using the switch on the drivers door, but eventually it stopped. I foolishly tried the switch on the door itself, and it went down, but not BACK UP. WTF! I took the door panel off and found this little plastic guide kinda thing ratteling around the bottom of the door.


I thought about taking the other door apart to see whats up, but its difficult to really even see whats going on.
I have a theory that that guide fell out, and for the few remainig times it worked, I was stressing out the motor to get the window up, and I burned out the switch in the process. I only say that cause I thought the switch might be screwed up, and I get 12V when I push it to go 'down', but only 7V when I switch it 'up'. The motor makes a definate 'click' when I push 'down' also, but nothing when its on 'up'. I ended up loosening up the motor, and taking it off its mount to get the window up before it rained. A line drawing or something like that would be a great start.

It looks like that plastic piece came off of your window regulator, you might want to take a look at it and see. That would definitely prevent your window from moving up and down smoothly.

 

yeah that looks like the window clip. I had a problem like that with my 01 civic. The window fell right into the door and wouldn't roll up anymore. Took it to a window shop and they said the clip slid out of place and the regulator was messed up.
