Default H22 in a 91 accord question???

im asking for a friend of mines. he has some money now and wants to throw an h22 in his 91 accord ex. im familiar with swaps into hatchbacks but never an accord. what parts would he need besides the engine, tranny, ecu?? are there custom axels needed or anything else? thanks ahead of time.

First things first bro, there are like 60 threads like this that you can gather information from, so try the search next time. However, now we are here anyway, there arent too many parts you need as long as the H22 motor your friend is getting is an OBD1 which is much like the stock motor in his car. You will need a complete sway, and such things as sensors and parts of the main engine wiring harness can be chopped but the best thing about this is that parts of his stock wiring harness and some of his stock sensors can be used.

I suggest he might need new linkage, and i would change out the axels based on the mileage he might have accrued on his car. There are other smaller things, hopefully other people here can chime in and give you more details.

thanks for the info. i did a lot of searching but i find most post on the newer accords. i found that you can use the stock mounts? is that the stock mounts from his car? or prelude mounts??
