Number of tooth on 88, 89-91 and 92 tranny. Important please!!
Hey guys, I need to know this asap. I bouth a tranny. The guy told me it was from a 91 crx so it should fit on a 92 si block. The tranny has 21 teeth and the clutch on the 92 only has 20, so obviously these 2 don't go together. I am suspecting it is not a 91 but an 88.
So, I would like to know how many teeth there are on a 88, 89-91 and 92 tranny.
Please answer asap, this is important.

20 splines....89-00 d series...
21 splines....88 tranny
it'll work as long as you use a 88 clutch.
