Default is it worth it?

do you guys think that this hatch is good for $1400? not running but is clean inside out plus a few extras. read and reply

This is a 5 speed civic with 161k on it (original owner). The engine (D16Y7) is non working (blown rod) *still cranks
The car has been slightly modified and is being sold ‘as is’ with all modifications.
New timing belt and water pump 130k.
All A/C components are brand new (fan, belts, resonator)
Front end suspension has new tire rods (inner/outer) and wheel bearings (replaced two years ago)
Clutch was replaced April 04 with sport clutch kit (flyweight)

KYG AGX Adjustable gas performance shocks, competition grade (installed 12/24/04)
Ground Control Coilovers; Adjustable to 3” lowering depth (installed 12/24/04)
Hayame full catback exhaust (installed 10/16/04)
Pioneer Premium speakers; 6” door speakers 120w, 6x9 rear 150w
Clarion CD/MP3 player (plays MP3 cd’s)
Your choice of stock 13” steel wheels or 14” steel wheels with Michelin’s (about 3 months old)
Avital Car Alarm, Starter kill and keyless entry

not too bad... 1400 **** i would buy it, get a nother sohc and drive that till i save up for something reallll nice. buy it mayne!

I don't know, I'd need to see pics. I guess if the body was in excellent shape (not needing body work or a paint job) it might be.

Well if your planning on dropping a motor in it and the body is good shape i'd say go for it

I would think it was worth $1400. People will say "No more than blue book" but if its what you want and the parts were install correctly I don't see why it wouldn't go for $1400.

New motor would probably only cost you mabe 400. And if you wanted to do a swap it wouldn't matter if the car is running or not.

If the body is in mint shape like you said I would buy it. (but I don't like hatches, I'll stick to my heavy, slow coupe, thank you very much)
