Default Rsx seats

I have an 02 civic coupe with side air bags..... I put in 04 rsx-s black leather seats.... almost all the links hooked up for my air bags besides the passanger side, I took it to acura and they had an unknown error, pretty much all they are saying is to take that set up out of the seat and put the set up that was in my OEM seat in the RSX seat. I would rather not do that and have to deal with the chance of the bags accidently comming out.

anyone know n e thing on this? INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

MY SRS light is on and we tried reseting it at Acura (my cuz works there) and they werent even able to reset it, like i said it kept comming up with that error.... ive had this prob for about 2 months already, but havnt gotten around to fix it yet.

thanx in advance,

I was told if you disconnect your battery for 15 minutes - not sure if time matters - you wont have to worry about the air bags deploying in your face. Your best bet is to drop the oem bags in the new seats. Otherwise your gonna have to hack into the wiring - and if your like me thats the last thing you want.

yea true, but the thing with the bags, yea if u disconnect the battery there is less of a chance for the bag going off in ur face, but the thing is, if that system gets any electrical charge, wether its a shock or spark of any kind, that **** can go right off. good lookin out, i have to figure this out.... not even acura knew what to do, but i was told by someone who did this, that all teh wires will match up fine and everything will work perfect.
