im going to a local pick and pull to find ex power door handles/assembly for my eg hatch so i can finally put an alarm on my car.....so do i need power windows to get the power locks to work? becuz the power windows motors make tha doors hella heavier n i dun really want that. i bought the hatch for a reason....just want an alarm put on. seen too many people scoutin my shiet. and does anyone know good alarm systems plz refer them to me

BTW: what parts do i need to take from the ex to make the power locks to work on my shiet? (electrical?)hmmmmm

or you could just get power lock actuators. thats all that i'm doing. and technically, you dont need the power locks to have an alarm. just with the alarm, when it is disarmed, the doors unlock. i'm doing the actuators and alarm this weekend. best of luck
