Default Best OEM hiflow muffler

finished up welding up my 2.5" downpipe back exhuast. im trying to debate on what would be the best OEM exhuast that has the least flow restiction, but also keeping to sound down. currently have a greddy evo muffler, nice sound but not good for sleeper approach. any others not on the list, please feel free to comment.

s2000 muffler?? i dunno. i'd assume go with a muffler from a factory turbo car because they need to flow more air.

and btw, srt-4's don't come with a muffler from factory

I was using an OEM CTR muffler and it flowed very nice. It had a deep sound but very quiet. It's the casting as the Spoon EK exhaust. It's a bit shorter and thinner than the ITR muffler, so I would think it's a bit less restrictive, but not as loud. Also, Vibrant has a new line of high flow mufflers that are flat black. They look stock, and perform even better. I'm using an RS*R ex-mag right now, there very good, if u don't mind haveing a 4" tip, but balck muffler housing. If u go OEM, ur looking for expensive and used. I would check out the new Vibrant line of mufflers, but that's jus me. Well gud luck in finding the right one!!

If you really want to stick with an OEM muffler of some sort, go for the STI. It's best to pick a muffler from a higher horsepower turbo car than anything N/A or fake dual exhaust.

For cost, ITR is a great sounding high flowing stock muffler.
Cost aside, the Spoon silencer has a WONDERFUL sound, and flows very well.

P.S. Forget the 350Z and G35 mufflers, those cars sound like a cow menstrating.

i have an itr muffler, and it flows pretty well. looks good too. the only thing i don't like...but i do in a way, is that it's VERY quiet. it's nice because i can actually hear my radio on the highway, but it's bad because i leave it in 3rd at about 50 and i won't notice it (i go by sound, i never look at the tach).

(Black) "so stock lookin" es oval i have it on my boosted hatch/ and its great. If you are interested in it and want to see pics just email me and i can send them to you. The es oval is loud i think on all motor cars but with boosted vechicles its not nearly as loud i love it.

yeah, thats the whole thing im tryin to do. have the sleeper approach. so i can enjoy driving around and not have some ****** ricer pull up to race or some dumb ****. the es oval sounds good on boost? my issue is the loudness. but i havent heard that one personally. when boost hits, i want to to flow well, i know im going to compromise a little power, but its worth it.

Id say that is real quite my waste gate is bbye far way louder and the only way tl eliminate that is to re-route it into your DP. Ive heard the Es on all motor cars and on boosted cars (mine) and it is completly different. It keeps a low deep sound the whole time. The muffler alls it is is a stright pipe through that has holes in it to kill some of the noise. The Magna flow completely reroutes it through the muffler.
