Default what brand of muffler creates the best sound?

i,ve got a 97 ex coupe d16y8 i'm gonna run 2.25 from my cat back. i've got e-nuf money to buy a nice universal muffler. can u guys recommend some that will produce a nice deep,smooth,clean sound and minimum buzzing

APEX'i N1 muffler. Not too loud and minimal back pressure. Especially when mated with that size of exhaust.

i bought the full catback apexi n1 sounds nice

my gf bought this universal muffler and just upgraded her pipes to 2.25" sounds cool too but its an auto. no brand muffler. person on here named advan06 or something sold it to us. fart can

im with him, i like the sound of both, but magnaflow is better, while n1 is becoming the new rice

If you have the means to get a twin loop muffler (yes, even an OBX one) then go for it.

That's crank HP, though. I would stay away from a Hayame. That's what I have, and I wouldn't recommend it to you. It's definitely a fart can, and I can't say that I'm satisfied with the tone or power gains. Just my opinion.

i'd say get a revolution R exhaust, got that on my set up. VERY DEEP! i have a 2.5 piping with a test pipe, not a fart can and loud and obnoxious like some others! its VERY deep, or you can find an ES muffler. Looks stock but out performs alot of others too! these two are VERY hard to find, and RARE! i wanna depart my revolution R canister for the ES muffler but man ive tried for one yr now and they are still on back order! good luck deciding dude
