Well i have been thru 3 trannys wich are the Ls A-1, J1 and the long gear S1 tranny. I was wondering why is this happening some say its cuz of my clutch and pressure plate setup. Wich is a ACT street strip stage 2 clutch with a heavy duty stage 3 pressure plate. But some mechanic told me that if i was to installed lsd it will help me from blowing up my tranny. And others says that my integra is just to damm heavy but i dont want to belive that lol cuz i love my integra. And of course some say that since i had a ls s1 tranny and i rev my car between 8000 to 9000 rpms that my tranny wont last at all cuz they can not take that high of a rpm. And if i had a B16 tranny it would last long cuz its short gears and meant for the high rpms. Well the J1 did last me a long time but thats when i was a Nitrous charge ls motor and now i did and ls/vtec conversion. Ever since i had the hybrid motor the J1 and the Ls S1 tranny did not last me to long what so ever. PLEASEEEE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM....has anyone been thru this problem before?
