Default car profiling

Almost got a speeding ticket yesterday.

Cop pulled me over saying I did 99Km/Hr (in a 60Km/Hr) zone.

The stupid thing is that I was going 60 or 50 Km/Hr.

In a 3 lane street, I was in the middle lane going speed limit or less than, out of no where a white Nissan Sentra flies on the right lane going about 100 Km/Hr or more. I switch to the right lane where the Sentra was, pass the speed trap and the officer pulls ME over.

He thought I was doing 100Km/hr.

From a distance ...which car did he pick, yeah the white Type R over the white sentra. Anyways he checked my record (license, insurance, registration) everything fine and said to me "I'm giving you a break today", I still told him that he pulled the wrong guy over. He stuck to his story but I figure it's not worth arguing since he's not issuing a ticket.

He definately must have had doubt though because according to him I was doing 99km in a 60km zone.

Glad you escaped!

He definitely knew he f**ked up! Speed traps are there to make money, he would not have let you off if he new he had the right guy.

I'm going to set up a tea party this week. I'll send out the invite later tonight!

Regards,

Trap on Dufferin & 407 area in Concord.

That area looks barren however York Region cops are all over that place.

I know better cause I pass it all the time, what a shame if I got a ticket at a known speed trap.
