Will rims of this size fit my lude>?

it's in the grey area at +42. it may or may not work, it'll depend on tire choices.
ideally you'd want +45. but some people have gtten +42 to work w/o issues. some people haven't.

i bought a set of rota gt-3's with a 40 mm offset the guy that sold it to me said it would fit a bb6. he sales here on honda-tech https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=697937 so you guys are tellin me there is no way there gonna fit..even with stiff springs (i have sprint very stiff) and alower profile tire (205/45/16 i belive)??
btw..were is it gonna rub? sorry for the noobish question.

40mm and 16x7 may or may not work, it's hard to say.
with stiff springs and lower profile tires, it has a better chance of being ok. if they don't, you can have a machine shop mill off 3-5mm off of the mounting hub of the wheel to effectively "create" more offset. it'll cost some money but that's sort of a last resort. the only way you'll know for sure is to throw em on and see.

so it would rub the wheel hub?? if they dont fit i would probly sale them....because trying to mod somthing to make a correct fit in this case sounds like a bad idea.. .but it would look sick with them on there.

no, probably not, depends on how deep your lugs are. and even if they weren't deep enough, it'd prob be easier to get open ended lugs anyway. it should be fine. 3-5mm isn't that much anyway.
by the way when i say "hub" i don't mean the suspension-knuckle-hub, i mean the part of the WHEEL itself that comes into contact with the knuckle. you're modifying the wheel, not the suspension. just wanted to make sure that was clear.

that would decrease the offset if anything. + offset moves the wheel closer to the chassis, - offset moves it further out.
basically, do a test fitting, and see where the tire's edge is in relation to the edge of the fender. if the edge is going to rub the outside of the fender under suspension compression then you'll need to increase your offset.

it's not all about rims, tires are playing part of fitment as well.
i have 40mm offset and with 205 width, they are not rub even with 2.5" drop.
so what if you have 45 offset but with 245 width, it's gonna rub like there's no tomorrow.
