Default Reputable shop in San Diego?

I need the throwout bearing replaced in my '00 Integra GS-R 76,000 miles The dealer wants $950. When I regained consciousness, I wanted to look around for some competition

Not exactly in San Diego. But I recommend JDMconcepts in Vista, CA
they do great work and would be able to help you out with what you need done.

that type of work is just like a clutch job, it shouldnt be no more than $300.00
but for $900 you can probably get the whole bearing set and put in a performance clutch with labor already at that price.

Chi Li Auto Center in Santee, CA. He also runs pandagarage.com (partners w/ Jimmy).. I used to work for them, they are good peoples, and Li really knows his stuff, I always take my car to him when I need major stuff done.

A&B Auto Repair. run by my friend's parents. They have been around for over 10 years. Do good work too.

Suspension Plus in sports arena and Miramar, again run by another friend's parents. Marcos knows his stuff well, he's a bit more on the expensive side, but his shop does good work. my roomates prelude has always been maintained there.. Runs like a champ.

look them up in the yellow pages.

They do really good work, according to Dat (owner of Speed Alliance) but they are rather expensive. Oh well, Dat swears by them, he drives Nissan's now and still takes his cars to them, lol.
