Default car loos power after changing gear

I got 2000 civic EX with 60000 mles. When car change gear acceleration becomes really slow until RPM hits around 3500. It seems like car is loosing power when gear changes.

So far I have done these thing
Changed spark plugs and wires
Check timing
I would appreciated any help

Is this an automatic I'm assuming? The gear ratios become smaller the higher up you go, so a loss of multiplied torque at the wheels is something you should expect from a physics standpoint.

It could be something related to your torque converter. As someone stated above your losing torque.
