1991 Accord Wagon speakers?
I just myself a new beater and the speakers a shot. Not surprising for a 14 yo car. But I've done a bit of research and I can't find consistant answers on what does (or does not ) fit.
According to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, my front speakers are 6.5 and the rears are 100mm (they're in the head liner). Usually Crutchfield has a pretty good idea about these sorts of things, but I won't even go into detail about how weird their recommendations are for this car.
I'm hoping someone on here has the same car and has replaced their speakers with something aftermarket and can give me an idea on where to start looking for speakers that fit. I don't mind making my own brackets with some MDF. But I'm looking for some input about what diameters, depth, etc. fit in the stock locations.
Also, the car has a factory sub in the hatch. It's a 6x9. Anyone have any recommendations for a replacement here as well. I figure this will be a little more straight-forward. Something that will serve better as a sub rather than a full range speaker?
thanks
