SSR Competition Wheels on 5th Gen
I'm considering SSR Competition wheels for my 5th gen Prelude base model, but I have regarding what width I should get.
I'm thinking of going for 17". However, for some reason Tire Rack only offers one option for width, 8". I'd rather go with 7", at most 7.5". Does anyone know the reason for this? Does a narrower width not give enough clearance to the calipers? It seems to me wheels at that size might rub, especially if the car is lowered. Right now I'm at stock height, but plan on going down maybe an inch. I was also wondering what the ideal offset might be for those wheels.
I was also thinking of BBS RGR wheels, but those are a bit ridiculous in price, and their heavier.
Any help is much appreciated...

17 by 8 inches wide is better. You can put on wider tire.. Its all about the OFFSET of the rims you choose.. I highly suggest that 50++ offset would work..
