ok, yesterday i drove around for about 30-45 minutes with my AC on and no problems what so ever, it was nice and cold . this morning i went out to my car and let it warm for like 5-10 minutes then i took it out to drive. when i was out i decided to turn my AC on. So i then turned it on and when i turned it on my AC and rear window defrost both came on. so i tried to push the window defrost button to turn it off but it wont go off!! so i then turned my AC off and then my rear window defrost went off. so now whenever i turn my AC on my rear window defrost is always on, but thats not the worst part. now my AC is only blowing warm/hot air out when yesterday it was nice and cold? my AC might need recharging but that dosent explain why the rear window defrost comes on when i push the AC on.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ITS 95 DEGREES OUTSIDE!!!!!!

 

sounds like the connections on your circuit board might be going bad. typical thing to happen on 4th gen climate controls

 

i tried it now with the key turned to the Accessory part and the rear window defrost light goes off but it still blows hot air!! but still when i turn the car on both still come one??

anyone else have any suggestions

 

mine will blow hot air sometimes. press AC button in and out a couple times and see it the AC works again. it works for me sometimes
